The "Shiloh" behind Shiloh Renee Photography

Hi there! I'm Shiloh, the face behind the camera! I'm a California girl with a wanderlust spirit (cliche, I know). I've lived all over the US (and outside now!) and have been blessed to photograph some amazing people everywhere I've been. I am a US Navy veteran and spouse, and I live in Zushi, Japan, with my husband Joshua, son Samuel (my assistants-to-the-photographer), and our sweet fur babies Ares and Athena.

I love capturing intimate moments where you can feel the emotion radiating from the picture. I swoon over intense gazes, meaningful touches, and the occasional fleeting tear that means so much more than words can ever express.

Every story is different, and every person has a new experience that should be shared with the world. Let's get together, capture the beauty of your story, and form some incredible friendships along the way.

With love, Shiloh

You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you. (Song of Songs 4:7)

My logo

I'm a proud Californian and will tell anyone who asks (or doesn't) that In-n-out is the best fast food restaurant ever. Still, the part of California I connect with most is the state flower, the California Poppy. With that thought in mind, I knew I wanted to incorporate them into my logo, but what about that cactus? Well, my husband (Assistant to the Photographer) was born in Arizona, and my way of making sure that he was well represented in my work was to add in Arizona's Saguaro Cactus Flower. And a special thank you to Katlin Tarrer for making my logo dreams come true!

What people are saying

Shiloh was amazing! My husband and I are not really into taking pictures so we were clueless of what pictures we should capture or how to pose really. She was so good at directing us and making sure everything was captured and perfect. She was highly responsive and we have even been Instagram friends since the wedding two years ago. I would without a doubt recommend Shiloh to anyone looking for an experienced photographer. Thanks again, Shiloh!
